Jay Z Sells His Share Of The Nets For Second-Highest Price In NBA History
Eyes and Voice has learned that, Jay Z has sold his stakes of the Brooklyn Nets for a whopping $500,000 which does not include his ownership of the Barclays Center.
Jason Kidd the Brooklyn Nets Head Coach is the buyer of the rapper’s one-fifteenth of 1% of the team.
The Brooklyn Nets are now worth $750 million 150% more than Bruce Ratner paid for the NBA team in 2004, and more than double what billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov paid in 2010. The Nets was worth around $530 million only just in January, Eyes and Voice has learned.
Eyes and Voice has learned that this deal between Jay Z and Jason Kidd would be the second most ever paid for an NBA team.
As it appears, it seems that Kidd has made a good investment. according to Bob Caporale, the founder and chairman of Game Plan LLC, “NBA values have continued to increase and I expect that a new TV deal added to the current collective bargaining agreement (which lowered the salary cap) will fully support, if not add to, these valuations.”
