Luton Carnival 2014: What To Expect
Excitement over Luton Carnival (2014) is building up and Eyes and Voice is here to tell you some of the things and events you should expect to see on the day.
For people that might be new to the annual celebration, Luton International Carnival brings together ‘spectacular colourful costumes, music from around the globe, street entertainers and international food to tickle your taste buds, it will be a truly unmissable day.’

As Eyes and Voice has earlier told you, this year’s Luton Carnival will take place on Sunday 25 May. The Europe’s biggest one day carnival will run from 12 noon to 6pm.
The day will kick off with the Parade from Wardown Park through to St. Georges Square at the town centre, where the main stage will be and parade back to Wardown Park.

Entertainment and Sound Sites
There will be entertainment and Sound Sites for any music of your choice. There will be three (3) Sound Sites at Wardown Park, One (1) between New Bedford road and Hucklesby way, The main stage at St. Georges Square (town centre) and One (1) in Gordon Street.
Costumes and Performances
At the Carnival Gala evening, which took place on Friday, 16th May, eight (8) of Luton’s carnival groups gave an exclusive preview of what they’ll be showing off in the parade on the day.
The showcase displayed some of the incredible costumes and great performances on show this Sunday.
Forecasters are predicting some amount rain before the weekend but the sun is expected to be out for Luton Carnival on Sunday (May 25).
