On Wednesday (9 July), Justin Bieber pleaded no contest to one count of vandalism for egging a neighbor’s house earlier this year.

The singer has been ordered to pay fine, undertake five days of community service and complete a 12-week anger management programme after he pleaded no contest.

As part of the 20-year-old popstar plea deal called ‘a negotiated settlement’, the ‘Boyfriend’ singer will have to pay $80,900 in restitution, Eyes and Voice understands.

Bieber who was not present in Los Angeles Superior Court for his trial, his representatives said in a statement:

“Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him,

“He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music.”

The Egging incident which happened earlier this year (2014) in January, was caught on tape as Justin Bieber threw eggs at his neighbour’s house in California.

Investigators searched Bieber’s home following the incident and arrested a friend, aspiring rapper Lil Za, for drug possession at the house.

Lil Za was charged with felony possession of Ectasy and oxycodone and faces up to nine years in prison.

The egging incident was followed by a string of arrests and legal problems for the former teen singer, who was later arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Miami Beach, accusation of attempted Robbery – when he allegedly snatched a woman’s phone, as well as being arrested for graffiti in Rio, Brazil.
