Chris Brown Announces ‘X’ Release Date
After what seems like a lifetime of push backs and more, Chris Brown has finally confirmed a release date for his sixth studio album ‘X’.
The ‘Loyal‘ singer took to Instagram to announce the date, which is now September 16th!
His last album ‘Fortune‘ was released in 2012 and spawned hit singles including ‘Turn Up the Music‘ and ‘Don’t Wake Me Up‘.
The ‘X’ project initially launched last year with the single ‘Fine China‘ which performed moderately well around the world.
However it was the single ‘Loyal‘ that put Chris Brown back in the top ten.
He most recently performed the single at this years BET Awards, which was his first public performance after his jail stint.
Chris has admitted to his past mistakes with another post on Instagram saying,
”I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way. But through it all I’ve always been true to myself and through God I’ve been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man. I’m grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life!”
Here’s hoping that Chris sticks to his words and shows nothing but positive energy when it comes to not only this new album campaign but also in his personal life as well!
