Jennifer Hudson’s ‘JHUD’ Tracklist Revealed

Jennifer Hudson is gearing up for the release of her third studio album ‘JHUD‘.

The LP which will be released on September 23 will the see the Academy and Grammy Award winner present a more personal side to her fans and a new attitude which has already been shown in her two previous videos ‘I Can’t Describe‘ and ‘Walk It Out‘.

Speaking on the project she mentions that…

With this album, I feel as though you get a sense of my energy and that’s why we named it JHUD because you’re getting to know the girl and not just the public persona of Jennifer Hudson, I want you to know the person.

As well as collaborations and productions from Pharrell Williams, T.I. and Timbaland, the collections also features appearances from the likes of R. Kelly and woman of the moment Iggy Azalea.

The full track listing is as followed:

1. “Dangerous”
2. “It’s Your World” (feat. R. Kelly)
3. “He Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere” (feat. Iggy Azalea)
4. “Walk It Out” (feat. Timbaland)
5. “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)” (feat. T.I.)
6. “I Still Love You”
7. “Just That Type of Girl”
8. “Bring Back the Music”
9. “Say It”
10. “Moan”

With a bolder look and a boost in confidence, it will be interesting to see how well this collection will be received by both critics and the public.

Her last two albums ‘Jennifer Hudson’ and ‘I Remember Me‘ both sold respectively well for the niche audience that she caters towards. However I do believe that now is the right time for her to take a step further in cementing her musical legacy, especially with the powerhouse vocals she is well known for.

JHUD‘ is available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon now.
