Confirmed: S Club 7 To Reunite

In what was possibly the worst kept secret in pop reunion history, today S Club 7 has confirmed via their official Twitter account that they are to reunite before the end of the year.

The ‘Never Had A Dream Come True‘ group shared the news saying,

“We’re massive fans of BBC Children in Need and it was great to be able to support the charity all those years ago,”

“We’re really looking forward to bringing it all back for Pudsey, for BBC Children In Need and for all our fans who have been so great over the years. This is going to be the mega S Club party of all time!”

The seven piece originally formed in 1998 and throughout that time they released eleven UK top ten singles including four number ones (two of them being official Children In Need singles) and won two BRIT Awards.

They also starred in four television series (‘Miami 7′, ‘L.A. 7’, ‘Hollywood 7’ and ‘Viva S Club’) and the motion picture ‘Seeing Double‘ before splitting in 2003.

No other details have been announced on whether this is just a one-off reunion, but we can only presume if the comeback is well received then a tour and a greatest hits re-release would most likely follow?

This years Children In Need fundraiser will take place on Friday November 14th on BBC One.
