The catwalk was used again to show off the ‘Hellavagirl’ designs. These incorporated sparkly bold elements to night dresses that are ideal for nights on the town. Of similar taste, designer Evelina Rimke showed females a uniquely chic side to edgy evening gowns and winter wear. The ever so creative Rakel Blom reminded the audiences that even though winter is here, summer will be right around the corner once again with these bright flower orientated designed dresses.

Always one to keep the audience on their toes, the show introduced singer Jade William who spiced the evening up with her own original material ‘What Do You Take Me For’. Another acoustic set were featured with the likes of Eliie Jade accompanied by guitarist Anabelle. The two females done a spicy cover of the current UK and US number one single ‘All About That Bass’ by Meghan Trainor, and the Emeli Sande cover of ‘Suitcase’.

‘Monaara’ clothing by Monika Kalra was another high street sourced clothing line showing off their impressively dynamic scarves. Originally from Spain, ‘Tangram’ clothing displayed an array of sophisticated white evening dresses which undoubtedly caught the audience’s eyes.

The audience expressed their appreciation for the effort and drive of artists Rebelyous, Wazey and Fingers, who kept it real with their grime flavoured music.

‘Eldimaa Fashion’ showed zesty tropical clothes which then differed from sheer long gowns, bold frills, to a printed body fitted mermaid tailed dress. ‘Heu Pitra Designers’ also paraded silky gowns, yet adding a cheeky split going up the leg to contribute to a more exciting look. The designs also combined embroidered studded chains to shirt-dresses, tussles to play suits, and teamed geometric prints to even bolder gowns. The designs of ‘Khu Khuz’ laid heavily on the traditional tribal printed dress which added continental essence to the designs.

An extra late night treat for the audience included an unplanned beat box performance from the humorous rapper Fingers, plus an impressive improvised singing performance from the skillful yet stirring Farai, who got the crowd singing in his favour. The event brought about a diverse lineup of talent yesterday night, a success to say the least.
