2014 MTV Europe Music Awards: Full List of Winners
The 2014 MTV Europe Music celebrated its twentieth year last night and it proved to be a big night for many pop acts.
Hosted by Nicki Minaj, the event returned to Glasgow for the first time in over ten years and featured performances from the likes of Ariana Grande, U2, Alicia Keys, Enrique Iglesias and Ed Sheeran.
Ariana Grande received two awards, one for Best Song (‘Problem’) and the other for Best Female.
One Direction had another good year and were the recipients of Best Pop, Biggest Fans, Best Live Act and Best UK & Ireland Act.
Nicki Minaj was also thanked further for her hosting duties and walked away with Best Hip-Hop and ‘Pretty Hurts‘ by Beyoncé won in the Best Song with a Social Message category.
Katy Perry also continued her EMA winning streak by receiving Best Video for ‘Dark Horse‘ and having the Best Look!
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne was also honoured with the Global Icon Award.
