Where Does Gaga Go From Here?

Where Does Gaga Go From Here?

Gaga Oscars EV

It’s been a few days since the Academy Awards and Lady Gaga still appears to be in everyones good graces.

Thinking about it 2015 is already turning out to be a good year for her! Firstly she got engaged, she won a Grammy with Tony Bennett, she got cast in the next series of American Horror Story and had a show stealing performance at the biggest award show in Hollywood.

Last year it had appeared that many people had written Gaga off and that she had peaked too soon. But with this renewed buzz and appreciation what should her next move be?

It already appears that she will be touring frequently throughout the year with Tony Bennett which will no doubt keep people entertained and she has been pictured with the likes of Adele and RedOne which can only lead to more speculation over new music.

Personally I think that she should release some new pop material this year to test the waters and reclaim some fans back. I think she should be very selective with her appearances (i.e. award shows) and not build up too much anticipation as she done in the past.

I believe that she should initially take the less is more approach and leave fans and critics hungry for more. In a way she should take a similar approach that Beyoncé did in 2013 prior to the release of her self-titled and acclaimed collection.

We are now at a stage where it is clear how talented and special Gaga’s voice truly is. Her next solo venture should focus on this and less on the theatrics. Of course I am not saying get rid all of her unique flavour but just don’t let that be the main focus anymore. Many people have moved on from that and so should she!

Everyone loves a comeback story and if Lady Gaga can pull this off then it will only solidify her legacy even further.
