2015 MTV Video Music Awards: Full List of Winners

VMA 2015 E&VThe 2015 MTV Video Music Awards took place last night in Los Angeles and once again it was a night of music, controversy, shade and randomness!

Host Miley Cyrus certainly didn’t disappoint with a variety of wacky outfits, performances and even an on-screen spat with Best Hip-Hop Video winner Nicki Minaj (was it or wasn’t it staged???)…

Taylor Swift had a lot to celebrate with four wins throughout the course of the evening. Her video for ‘Blank Space‘ collected awards for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video, whilst her high budget and cameo heavy video for ‘Bad Blood‘ was awarded the Best Collaboration and the prestigious Video of the Year!

Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift also put to rest their Twitter beef by performing the song onstage together at the beginning of the show. Don’t tell me you didn’t see that one coming…

VMA queen Britney Spears was also in the building to present the Best Male Video award to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars for their hit single ‘Uptown Funk‘. Fetty Wrap was named this years Artist to Watch, Fall Out Boy won Best Rock Video for ‘Uma Thurman‘, Big Sean’s ‘One Man Can Change the World’ was named Best Video with a Social Message and Beyoncé even won a technical award for her editing work on ‘7/11‘!

As previously mentioned Kanye West received this years Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award (presented to him by Taylor Swift of course) for his impact on music videos and MTV. Most of the Kardashian family was in the audience to witness him collect his award and during his speech he declared his intentions to run for president in 2020…

Elsewhere the evening showcased live performances from the likes of The Weeknd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Iggy Azalea and most notably host Miley Cyrus who performed her new track ‘Dooo It‘ to coincide with the surprise release of her new FREE studio album ‘Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz‘! Only at the VMAs….
