All Saints Confirm Comeback + Album Details

They have been teasing this news for over a year now, but now its has been confirmed that All Saints will be making a musical comeback!

The group first reunited for a series of gigs in 2014, which was the first time all four members had come together on one stage since their short lived comeback in 2006.

But this time around Shaznay, Melanie, Nicole and Natalie have reignited their passion and turned it into some promising sounds.

Melanie (who said in 2009 that there was no chance of a comeback…) has already stated that their upcoming fourth studio album is her favourite album that the group has ever done!

The groups main songwriter Shaznay enthusiastically states

“Seriously, I got on such a roll writing and recording with the girls again, we’ve started getting material for the next album together already. This couldn’t feel any more right.”

The groups new album will be titled ‘Red Flag‘ and is set for release on April 8. The lead single ‘One Strike‘ will drop on February 26. The song is said to be inspired by Nicole and her breakup up with former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

In the groups nineties hey day they enjoyed five UK number ones and their signature hit ‘Never Ever‘ won two BRIT Awards in 1998 for Best British Single and Video.

Other known songs include ‘I Know Where It’s At‘, ‘Lady Marmalade‘, ‘Pure Shores‘, ‘Black Coffee‘ and ‘Rock Steady‘.

Between the groups hiatuses all members released solo material and received mixed success. Nicole and Natalie formed the short-lived duo Appleton and enjoyed two top five singles. Shaznay release a solo album ‘Open‘ in 2004, but has mainly stuck to songwriting for groups including Stooshe and MKS. Melanie released a few singles and collaborations but most recently completed a second season as a judge on ‘The X Factor‘ in New Zealand.

Here’s hoping that this second comeback will leave a better impact this time round!
