Alicia Keys & Miley Cyrus Join ‘The Voice’
NBC is already gearing up for the fall season of it’s hit show ‘The Voice‘ and as ever there will be some new coaches added to the party!
Having both already appeared as advisors in previous seasons of the show, it has now been confirmed that both Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus will be full-time coaches for it’s eleventh (!) season.
It will mark the first time in the U.S. versions history that there will be two female coaches on one panel at the same time. But who will they be replacing you might ask?
As predicted Christina Aguilera will continue her one season in and one season off routine, and her replacement for the last two fall cycles Gwen Stefani looks set to focus on her own music career thanks to the release of her acclaimed album ‘This Is What the Truth Feels Like‘ last week.
Miley has already confirmed the news on Twitter saying,

On the male side of things Adam Levine and Blake Shelton show no signs of going anywhere yet. However Pharrell Williams looks set to take at least one season off, which will then make way for Alicia Keys to sit in his rotating chair.
Previous coaches on the US version of ‘The Voice‘ also include CeeLo Green (Seasons 1 – 3 & 5), Shakira (Seasons 4 & 6) and Usher (Seasons 4 & 6).
With Alicia and Miley both being two of the most talked about, acclaimed and having two of the most recognisable voices in the world, they look set to be an excellent addition to the long running franchise.
Season 10 of ‘The Voice‘ is currently airing Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
