Skepta tells Fans: “Don’t Cry For Me When I Die” | EYES AND VOICE


[EYES AND VOICE] 2015/2016 is considerably the best years for Skepta in music.

The Grime MC is literally everywhere; sold-out tour dates in the US, shows in Berlin and other parts of Europe. Responsible for one of the biggest song (Shut Down) in the UK and he was also recently announced a “cultural ambassadors” for Uniqlo.

In a new interview, Skepta spoke about his new upcoming album ‘Konichiwa’ – revealing that the album’s Japanese theme has helped him books shows in the South East Asian country.


The Boy Better Know head stated: “I cannot believe this. I’m going to Japan in a minute to do my first show ever, because of my album,”

“I want my whole Konichiwa setting to be correct when I go there.”

Expressing his excitement and achievements so far, the 33-year-old London rapper said:

“But I’ve never been to Japan, so to go in May with this, I’m buzzing. Life is sick, don’t cry for me when I die.”

Skepta has not officially revealed a release date for the new album, it is expected that ‘Konichiwa’ will be available later this summer.
